Jay Sean has issued a response to the TMZ news article which revealed that his previous label Cash Money Records was fined $1.1 million for not paying the artist royalties for his previous hits songs including Down, Fire, Do you Remember and Lights Off.
‘My team getting paid is only fair. We produced hit records that generated millions. Cash Money and I decided to go our separate ways on good terms and am glad to see this concluded properly. I just dropped my new single “Make My Love Go” on Sony Music in Australia. I am excited about the future as is my crew. Nothing but love.’ – Jay Sean
