Spring is in. It’s time to take a road trip to the Yarra Valley.
Hop for Hope is a free exhibition on at The Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery (yes, sounds horrific so far).
About an hours drive from Melbourne city, the beautiful ‘Hop for Hope’ exhibition sits on the grounds of The Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery, and features the works of 40 artists including David Bromley, Michael Leunig, Madeleine Stamer and Beci Orpin.
Vote for your favourites with gold coin donations.
To vote for your favourites, pop a gold coin into the donation boxes in front of each kangaroo. Each day donations are tallied and votes will be counted for a People’s Choice Roo to be announced at the end of the exhibition.
Bid for your favourite at auction.
An exciting public online auction of the kangaroos will follow the exhibition aiming to raise in excess of $400,000 (according to our calculations, you should be prepared to pay $10,000 for your new pet).
Proudly supporting
All funds raised from the Hop for Hope exhibition and auction will be donated to The Alannah and Madeline Foundation, a national charity with the belief that all children should have a safe and happy childhood without being subjected to any form of violence.
Entry is FREE. Caution: Chocolate samples are NOT fat free.
The exhibition is open from 9am – 5pm every day until 1 November, 2015
