In an unlikely partnership, Opening Ceremony and Fossil have joined forces to introduce an exclusive collaboration. Consisting of women’s handbags, men’s leather goods, small accessories and watches, the Opening Ceremony x Fossil collection launches in Australia on Monday 25th January.
Opening Ceremony’s passion for culture and discovery sits perfectly with Fossil’s curious nature and vintage spirit. The result is a product story that plays on both functionality and fun.
Inspired by the charm and simplicity of mid-century modern design and all the souvenirs one may collect for a ‘dream home’, the collection blends whimsy and an eclectic mix of materials with timeless wearability.
Classic styles with an unexpected twist, selected women’s leather bags are fully reversible and men’s backpacks are packable and lightweight. The collection sees surprise jolts of colour with luxurious touches like bonded leather, clean architectural lines with minimal stitching, and custom hardware. The accessories have hidden details like colourful gussets and furry tails.
The Opening Ceremony x Fossil collection also features three distinct watch silhouettes for women and one for men. This is the first time that Opening Ceremony will launch a true watch as part of their collection.
The collection consists of two styles of bangle watches. One blends an eclectic mix of avant-garde materials and authentic Fossil watch construction. Lapis, Onyx, Malachite and Tiger’s Eye gems decorate these designs.
