The 8th annual Bad Dads exhibition launches this week at Talon Gallery in Portland, Oregon. The annual event celebrates the brilliant cinematic career of American director Wes Anderson.
The event, Bad Dads derives its name from the iconic reoccurring father figures that Wes Anderson cultivates. What started in 2010 as a pop-up exhibition curated by gallery owner Ken Harman, Bad Dads has gained momentum over seven years, becoming a highly anticipated, international recognised, and often costumed art event. The exhibition series has steadily mirrored the release of Anderson’s eight feature films, numerous shorts and commercial features. BAD DADS VIII presents original paintings, sculpture, and limited edition prints. Preview some of the works in this gallery:

- There’s an opening night costume party on Friday 27 October, 2017 from 6 to 10pm.
