After a successful launch in Auckland, The Next Level exhibition opens at Besser Space in Collingwood on Friday.
The event combines as an exhibition and launch for Wacom’s annual artist publication, featuring a range of digital artists’ work from across the globe, who get displayed among the works of well established artists like Merda, Shaan D’Anthes, Gemma Correll, Dizzy Little Dotty, Rik Oostenbroek and David Milan. Artists also receive profits from any of their works sold at the exhibition. Artists receiving direct profits for their work is always a good outcome.
Wacom’s mission is to inspire people to keep making the world a creative place. They’re enablers, of sorts. A huge part of what they do is apply digital tech to creativity, one in the same. Especially in times so modern. The exhibition shows the work of a generation that creates powerful new tools of connectivity and expression that influence every aspect of the human experience.
The Next Level is on at Besser Space 15 – 25 Keele Street, Collingwood from Friday 3 November until Saturday 11 November
