Can fashion be sustainable? Mother of Pearl teams with BBC Earth to show you how it’s possible

UK cult brand Mother Of Pearl wants to keep sustainability at the fore as their recent film collaboration with the BBC’s award winning Natural History Unit shows.

The short film opens with breathtaking global scenes of nature, quickly followed by damning evidence of far reaching destruction the fashion industry is having to the environment.

There are three things we can all do to be more conscious consumers and help put the planet back on a better path;

  • Consider every purchase and make sure you love what you buy.

  • Buy quality and consume less.

  • Recycle and repurpose when garments come to the end of their life, or when there is no longer a space in your wardrobe.
