It’s been three and a half years since award-winning Seattle-based Hip Hop duo, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis released their debut album The Heist, and today they’ve confirmed a February 26 release for their new album This Unruly Mess I’ve Made. The thirteen track LP includes triple platinum & ARIA #1 selling single Downtown (featuring Kool Moe Dee, Melle Mel, Grandmaster Caz, and Eric Nally), as well as previously unavailable Growing Up (feat Ed Sheeran) and Kevin (feat Leon Bridges).
The long awaited follow-up effort was largely recorded over the course of a year in the wilderness of the Pacific Northwest of the United States.
“What I couldn’t find in a hotel room, on the road or in Seattle, I found in the middle of nowhere.”
– Macklemore.
