Music doco ‘How to Lose Jobs and Alienate Girlfriends’ gets an international release

On 7 June, acclaimed music documentary How to Lose Jobs and Alienate Girlfriends will be released internationally on iTunes and Amazon.

UK based Melbourne film maker Thomas Meadmore looks forward to the release of his feature-length documentary, which follows the creative processes of two independent music artists pursuing the dream of becoming professional (paid) artists. He says,

‘After so many years making this film, it’s an absolute joy to see its release to the world.  It feels like a chapter is finished.  I am also nervous, of course – it’s always so scary letting something so personal out there to be seen and judged.  But the journey has been epic and I couldn’t be more excited to give people a chance to discover it on such a brilliant platform!’

After only a few months behind the camera, Meadmore is waist deep in pitfalls that see his two subjects and two closest relationships; boss, Tony Jackson (TV Director, Lonely Planet) and girlfriend, Amanda Medica start to come undone. Meadmore’s insecurities rear themselves as he struggles to find a concrete story.

Included in the film are cameos by Australian rock cavalier Tim Rogers, singer/songwriter Monique Brumby and former pro surfer Tom Carroll.

‘How To Lose Jobs and Alienate Girlfriends’ will be available on iTunes and Amazon around the globe on 7 June.
