ORB: First And Last Men

Pixx: Baboo
Pixx aka Hannah Rodgers has released a new single, Baboo and a wistfully pretty video to match.
Pixx hails from Chipstead, beyond the fringes of south London, England, where suburban sprawl starts to break into countryside. Baboo is a tribute to the singer’s best friend who she says has shown her so much about the world and whose friendship she cherishes more than anything else.
Søren Juul: Pushing Me Away
Pushing Me Away is a stunning, moving piece of music by Søren Juul. The heart-rending track is matched by an intimate video filled with cinematic landscapes projected onto Juul while he plays and sings at the piano.
The single is off Juul’s forthcoming album This Moment, out Friday 17 June.
Steve Gunn: Ancient Jules
Steve Gunn is set to release his debut album Eyes On The Lines on Friday 3 June. Ancient Jules is a rock ‘n’ roll number and travel fantasy of a different sort.
Directed by Claes Nordwall, the ‘Ancient Jules’ video stars Gunn on the open road. When motorcycle problems emerge, legendary British folk artist Michael Chapman just happens to save the day.

Sally Seltmann: Dancing In The Darkness
Dancing In The Darkness isn’t strictly new, but have you heard it?
Sally Seltmann says of the single,
‘Dancing In the Darkness is my new single, and it’s an introspective hero song about honoring the beauty in your own madness. I wrote and recorded the song with Darren Seltmann specifically for the pilot for the ABC TV show The Letdown.’

Pantha du Prince: In An Open Space
Pantha Du Prince recently shared this video for In An Open Space just before release of his album The Triad , the first solo album by the artist since 2010’s Black Noise.
Scott Mou (who appears throughout the new album) explained the making of the video, IIt was important for us this time to show more of how we interact with each other. The cameraman (Cedric Retzmann) did a great job of shooting the planned scenes as well as capturing us candidly when we weren’t looking/’acting.’ He showed us as we are with each other: basically that we know and like each other! We wanted to interact with each other and the space in a more natural way an hey did a great job of making that happen.’
