The Geelong Food Truck Fiesta has 25 important decisions for you to make

UPDATE 1 DECEMBER: Due to extreme weather conditions, this event has been cancelled and will be rescheduled early next year.

Citizens of Geelong, rejoice! Food Truck Fiesta is on it’s way to you for the first time this weekend.

Running over three days from 1-3 December, choose from over 25 food vendors, indulge in espresso martinis and enjoy live music on the lawns at Geelong Showgrounds.

You can also bring your dog. In fact, it’s encouraged. Food Truck Fiesta has partnered with Geelong animal welfare organisation, GAWS. Treat your pup to a day of pampering for a good cause.

This is the first time Geelong will host the Food Truck Fiesta with a lineup that has been assembled with food fanatics in mind, with the likes of Royal Stacks, Mr Burger, Mr Chow, St Gerry’s, Billy Van Creamery & heaps of others to choose from (we recommend sampling from all).

The organisers of Food Truck Fiesta are behind some of Australia’s biggest festivals including Beyond the Valley, Pitch Music Festival and Petting Zoo Festival.

Food Truck Fiesta Promoter, Sammy Swayn said that ‘with Pimms, Melbourne Martini and Geelong’s own Furphy on tap, plus a huge food line up, organisers are expecting large crowds. And we say, if you’re not large when you get there, you might be on the way out. Wear a fully adjustable sarong to be sure.
