Coming this February: The Garb Wire explores the alchemy of the found object at Trash Magic exhibition in Melbourne

Update: **Originally scheduled for June 2020, we have postponed this show until February 2021 to get through the COVID-19 restrictions for public events. See more info here.

We’re very excited to be doing our first public art show with a group of incredible Melbourne creatives this June.

It’s all made possible by Trash Magic founder and visual artist Kerry Lennon.

Descend the subway steps to Campbell Arcade this June for the last Dirty Dozen exhibition by Creative Spaces Melbourne for our free exhibition titled ‘Trash Magic: the alchemy of the found object.’

About Trash Magic

Kez portrait

Kerry Lennon’s motivation for Trash Magic is simple – to help you ‘REPURPOSE WITH PURPOSE.’ She’s building a small business with a big vision.

Lennon’s goal is to gather recycled craft materials and discarded festival decor in one unique retail space, offering an alternative to buying single-use art and craft materials.

Trash Magic will claim materials that would normally go into landfill from industry, retail and festival waste, and curate it into repurposed craft and artist materials.

Join a community of eco-conscious crafters, artists & makers who want to recycle, remake, reuse , reimagine and reduce their footprint of single-use craft and artist materials. Learn more here. Follow on Instagram and Facebook.
