After a massive fashion soaked Nocturnal event in 2019, Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival will again join forces with Melbourne Museum to celebrate the cream of music and style.
Style has always been that intersection of what we wear, who we’re with and what we think we’re doing. This promises to be an evening of sartorial fun, with a massive musical line-up including Banoffee (seen at top), Romance Was Born x Chunky Move, Rainbow Chan, Mojo Juju (DJ Set), Purple Sneakers DJ’s, Feels, Pania, SaD, and Hey Drums.
Nocturnal is Melbourne Museum’s after-dark dance party with pop up bars, fashion films, live music, gallery access, and more.
Friday 6th March, 7pm-11pm. 18+ event. Melbourne Museum. Find tickets here.
On Tuesday 10 March at Melbourne’s Immigration Museum, Fashioning the Body sees three iconic and diverse artists, Akira Isogawa (fashion designer), Stanislava Punchuk (artist, curator, tattooist) & Zaiba Khan (printmaker, gold/silversmith) in conversation on how they fashion the body and mark identity through their art.
