Post-classical composer and pianist Rose Riebl is Icelandic independent music label INNI’s first Australian signing.
Her recent single ‘Someone Will Remember Us’, is a gentle and melancholic ode to the fleeting moments in life that can’t be captured, and on first listen, it’s hard to deny the magic of its subtlety (in stark contrast to the pace of our day to day lives).
Riebl’s debut album ‘Do Not Move Stones’ will launch on Saturday July 24th at Chapter House in Melbourne, along with an exclusive collaboration with Melbourne fashion label Alpha60.
Someone Will Remember Us speaks to longing and freedom and the wild rush of time and was inspired by David Whyte’s poem ‘The Journey’.
