Fresh off the back of sets at Glastonbury, airplay support from Triple j and community radio across Australia, as well as upcoming supports for MS MR and Mumford & Sons in the US, Jack Garratt has offered up one of the more emotive tracks of 2015 with ‘Weathered’. A song that we wrote, produced and recorded himself.
The video is a powerful coming of age journey, starring three real-life brothers. The clip was shot in canyons in the U.S. state of Georgia, where a natural phenomena of luminescent fungus called Foxfire occurs each year.
Garratt’s previous singles ‘The Love You’re Given’ and ‘Chemical’ featured heavily on Australia’s community radio and Triple J, and now “Weathered” offers further proof of why the land down under has received the young Englishman with open arms.
