Step right up to Janelle Monáe’s Wondaland. The Eephus EP is the hotly anticipated first release from her landmark partnership with Epic Records, and features the cream of Monáe’s own Wondaland Records’ talent, including Jidenna, Roman GianArthur, Deep Cotton, and St. Beauty.
It’s an electrifying awakening of an otherwise stale, crass genre, pushing limits with vocal techniques, cleverly understated lyrics, exciting hooks and decidedly fresh and modern, yet avant-garde fun. The EP, released August 14th, contains lead single ‘Classic Man’ by Jidenna featuring Roman GianArthur, as well as new single ‘Yoga’ by Janelle Monáe featuring Jidenna.
