On Wednesday The Johnston Collection presents HAUTE COUTURE HOUSES, a talk with Paola Di Trocchio, Curator Fashion and Textiles, National Gallery of Victoria.
Di Trocchio will explore the history of haute couture from its early beginnings in the 19th century to its contemporary manifestation as a site for elite craftsmanship and conceptual experimentation.
