The Sunshine State: our top QLD Stories for 2017

This little New World City continues to astound me, and this year was no exception.

The Brisbane buzz just gets stronger year on year, and the arts scene has a vibe that is every bit as bright as our annual 300 days of sunshine.  Sure, we sometimes try and take whitegoods on the train, but who wouldn’t want to have a beer with that guy?

The Brisbane buzz just gets stronger year on year, and the arts scene has a vibe that is every bit as bright as our annual 300 days of sunshine.

2017 brought with it an array of characters, festivals, art exhibitions and events.  Highlights included jostling for space on the MBFF garden swing, seeing my 6-year-old main man run excited laps of the Madman Anime Festival, and losing myself in a 12-minute Pete Murray charm vortex.  Vegas, you’re my world’s most liveable city.
